Tuesday, September 21, 2021 to Thursday, September 23, 2021| 1:00 PM ~ 4:30 PM ET

The Virtual New Grantee Orientation (NGO) will be offered as a web-based training via Zoom. This orientation is designed to provide newly funded grantees with the training/technical assistance and networking opportunities necessary to run their programs.

Who Should Attend the New Grantee Orientation

The NGO is open to Program Managers and Directors; Case Managers; Job Developers; Career Coordinators and Specialists; and Finance and Fiscal Managers of 2020 DOL YouthBuild grantees. Registration is open to all active grantees, with priority given to 2020 grantees and new program staff.

The Fiscal Q&A will take place on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, from 2:00 - 3:00 PM ET. All Finance and Fiscal Managers are encouraged to attend.

The NGO is offered at no charge for all active YouthBuild grantees through the U.S. Department of Labor. However, you are responsible for your own laptop, internet connectivity, and phone line to join the NGO virtually.

Pre-Recorded Pre-NGO Webinars and Webcasts

We strongly encourage all grantees to review the pre-recorded series and resources prior to the New Grantee Orientation. First-time grantees and new staff should watch all of the webinars and webcasts as they are a great introduction to the YouthBuild program and are constant resources to refer back to. Staff at more seasoned programs will also benefit by watching the pre-recorded series, as uniform guidance and terms and conditions updates have been added, and grant conditions may differ each year.
