MC3 Webcast #1: Introduction to the Building Trades Multi-Craft Core Curriculum

DOL YouthBuild Resource Image

This series is about implementing Building Trades Multi-Craft Core Curriculum (MC3), an apprenticeship readiness curriculum developed by North America’s Building Trades Unions (NABTU).

YouthBuild participants who successfully complete the MC3 receive an industry-recognized credential that can facilitate entry into registered apprenticeship programs sponsored by labor management organizations representing 14 crafts in the unionized construction industry.

The first webcast reviews the content and process of implementing the Curriculum at local YouthBuild programs. After this webcast, viewers will be able to describe the Building Trades Multi-Craft Core Curriculum (MC3); explain the purpose and benefits of the MC3 and discuss the steps involved in implementing a YouthBuild MC3 program.
