This webcast is part of a series about implementing Building Trades Multi-Craft Core Curriculum (MC3), an apprenticeship readiness curriculum developed by North America’s Building Trades Unions (NABTU).

YouthBuild participants who successfully complete the MC3 receive an industry-recognized credential that can facilitate entry into registered apprenticeship programs sponsored by labor management organizations representing 14 crafts in the unionized construction industry.

Webcast #4 names a set of promising practices to initiate and sustain relationships with local building trades’ councils. This is a critically important relationship that provides pathways into registered apprenticeship sponsored by labor management organizations. After this webcast, viewers will describe program practices to initiate and sustain relationships with building trades councils and discuss ways to involved building trades council representatives in ongoing program planning and development.
