This webinar will focus on how YouthBuild programs can sustain and grow by developing self-reliance through social enterprise, earned income business, and pay for success.  An overview of these models will be presented, as well as examples of how some YouthBuild programs and their respective organizations are developing and/or implementing them. 

Description

Peer presenters will share working examples of these sustainability models that don’t rely on government grants, and information on how to develop and implement these models in other YouthBuild programs.

Objectives:

  1. Participants will gain a general understanding of funding models including social enterprise, earned income business, and pay for success.
  2. Participants will learn how current YouthBuild programs are utilizing these models, the steps in planning and implementing them, and the successes and challenges associated with their implementation.
