The U.S. Departments of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Labor (DOL) jointly host this webinar in their role as Federal partners to promote partnership among contractors, Public Housing Authorities, Registered Apprenticeships and YouthBuild programs to leverage HUD’s Section 3 program.

Description

The Section 3 program aims to improve the economies of low-income communities by ensuring that residents (including DOL YouthBuild graduates) can find job training and employment opportunities on public housing construction projects. This webinar will highlight the different partners and best practices to better leverage Section 3 opportunities.
